Impeller meters in the water industry

Scope of application: Water procurement, Water distribution, Tapping of a spring
Impeller meters are ideal sensors for water procurement. They can distribute and transport fresh water from deep-well plants and other sources to elevated tanks, pressure stations and municipal utilities via conduits. Impeller meters are easy to mount in a well's pipe system (limited in place) and are easy to maintain and control.
Problem
The installation of a flow meter in old conduits can be time-consuming and costly. Because of bad access, installation could be difficult. Possibly the required inlet and outlet distances will not support the installation, or would not provide adequate metering accuracy.
Solution
The ideal solution is to install an impeller meter using a drilling bridge and standard drilling instruments without interrupting or disturbing normal operations. The calibration is made via K-factor and the offset value for the pipe size.
The standard frequency output produces, proportional to the flow, a low-ohm, square wave signal which can be
transmitted without amplifier to a distance of over 1400 meters.
