Flow metering - MAG flow meters in open channels

Target requirements:
Exact and continous flow and volume measurement with data recording capabilities in open channels or partially filled pipes at different effluent conditions such as: dry weather, night and heavy rain.
A measuring unit with an electromagnetic flow meter in an omega loop as measuring station or in combination with an effluent controller at a rain tank ensures that the pipe is filled. Sewer pipes with electromagnetic flow meters are vertical pipes which ensure that pipes are filled (inverted syphon principle). This provides for an exact measurement at critical hydraulical conditions. A manhole with a slope distance is required. The electromagnetic flow meter is always – also at flow zero - wetted and thus ready to measure. To reduce sediment deposits at small-flow velocities, you can choose a MAG meter smaller than the pipe size. The measurement will be more accurate and the self-flushing will be reinforced. Additional flushing facilities can be added at the low point of the measuring distance.
