Filling of cleaning concentrate

Filling of cleaning concentrate

Task:
In food industry process engineering facilities are to fulfill hygienic requirements and must be cleaned after each manufacturing process. The required cleaning concentrate must be provided in recipients. This kind of concentrates are expensive and  batches are thus to be measured and logged accurately.

Solution:
Compact filling system with anti-corrosive batch meter, batch controller and a specific software facilitating filling and batch processes at a measurement accuracy of 0.5 %.

Hardware:
The LMS Baby batch controller has been installed in a stainless steel case and controls the metering valves. The batch controller takes and processes the batch pulses from the oval gear meter type LM OG-PVC. While doing so, up to four different product types can be chosen and filled. The batches are recorded and read with date, time and operator name by way of an integrated printer or by way of an external PC via serial interface and a table is printed. Batching process is started with a start signal and the metering valve is opened.
The operator can choose between free dispense or a preselected batch. In cases where the batch has been preselected, batching is stopped as soon as the set pre- or end contact batch has been reached. Compressed air pump, solenoid valves and batch meter are installed in compact design on a panel plate.
